Can I pay in instalments / is there a payment plan?
Yes. You can pay in 3 instalments of £1,000 (total £3,000).
If I’ve already bought the online course or Grant Application Zone, can I upgrade and have that money taken off?
Yes. Just message us and we’ll send you a coupon code to deduct the cost of the online course from your CIC Tribe Premium payment. You can still use the 3-instalment payment plan too.
How much work will I have to do inside CIC Tribe Premium?
We keep it simple and supported. You’ll be asked to attend a 1-hour weekly group session, where we’ll complete most of your setup tasks together.
If you can’t attend live, no problem, you can watch the replay. If you miss a week (holiday, life, work, kids), that’s fine, you can catch up. Our aim is to get you through the full setup stage and your grant applications within 8 weeks, but you can move at your pace if you need longer. You’re supported for a full year, so you’re never left on your own.
What happens after the 8-week course ends?
After the 8 weeks, you’ll continue with your grant calls and get your applications submitted. The exact timeline can vary depending on which funders you’re applying to and what they require.
After that, you’ll still be supported for the rest of the year with: monthly group sessions (we’ll keep working on grants, fundraising, and income streams) community support access to all online zones a full year of support from me on text
What’s included in the 8-week course?
The 8-week course is designed to complete your CIC setup properly and get you ready to apply for grants without missing anything.
We’ll support you to: register your CIC set up your bank account get your policies and legal requirements in place sort director contracts and key compliance documents choose the right grants prepare everything funders want to see (surveys, taster sessions, evidence, etc.) write and build your applications using templates and support from our team
It’s comprehensive on purpose, so you don’t miss steps, make mistakes, or end up non-compliant.
What grants will I apply for?
You choose the grants you want to apply for, based on your project and what you’re eligible for.
We’ll support you to apply for as many as you like. Your 3 major applications will be done with Kex, and we can also work on additional funders together in the group (for example UNLTD, Children in Need, and others).
Do you teach us how to write grants as well?
Yes. Grant writing support is built into the year.
You’ll get: a mini grant writers course to complete the chance to see how Kex writes grants (and have the process explained step-by-step)
So you’re not just getting applications done, you’re learning the skill too.
What if my grant application gets rejected?
That’s exactly why you get a full year of support and why we apply early.
Many major funders give feedback. If you get a rejection, we can tweak the application based on feedback and resubmit (or apply elsewhere). You’re not left stuck after one “no”.
Can you guarantee I’ll get grant funding?
Legally, we can’t guarantee funding because it depends on factors outside our control (for example compliance, correct information on forms, directors, bank account setup, and following the process).
What we can say is this: everyone who follows the program gets funding. The amount varies depending on how many grants you apply for and the size of the grants you choose. If you stick to the process, you put yourself in the strongest possible position to get funded.
